Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pray First, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Pray First is a mobile application designed to help users build a daily prayer habit. Features include guided prayers, app blocking during prayer times, prayer streaks, and personalised prayer experiences. Some features require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions & Payments

Pray First offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

App Blocking Feature

The app blocking feature uses Apple's Screen Time API. By enabling this feature, you authorise Pray First to restrict access to selected apps during your chosen prayer times. You can disable this feature at any time through the app or your device settings.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Pray First — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Pray First and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Pray First is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the app's reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pray First shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
