Pray First ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you use Pray First, you may provide us with your first name, prayer preferences, and onboarding responses. This data is stored locally on your device.

Usage data: We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app experience. This includes app opens, features used, and general engagement metrics.

Push notifications: If you enable notifications, we use OneSignal to deliver push notifications. OneSignal may collect device identifiers for this purpose.

Subscription data: If you subscribe to Pray First Premium, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. We do not have access to your payment details.

How We Use Your Information

  • To send prayer reminders and notifications at your chosen times
  • To track your prayer streaks and progress
  • To manage your subscription status
  • To improve the app through anonymous analytics

Data Storage

Your personal data (name, preferences, prayer history) is stored locally on your device. We do not store your personal information on external servers unless required for push notification delivery.

Screen Time & App Blocking

Pray First uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls) to block apps during prayer times. This data is processed entirely on your device by Apple and is never sent to our servers.

Your Rights

You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Delete Account" option in Settings, or by deleting the app from your device. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

Pray First is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the date above.
